Subject: Gas tank: sell or make into aux. tank-How??

Hi all, I've seen something on this before but couldn't find it on the archives. I have an extra gas tank from an '84 vanagon that is in really nice shape that I grabbed in case mine was bad. Well, mine is fine so I'm wondering if I should sell it or install it into my '86 Westy as a auxilliary tank but don't know how much of an undertaking this would be. If it is a matter of welding up some of the holes, bolting it under the van and running some fuel line I can handle that but if I have to run all kinds of breather lines, move stuff under the van, etc. I think I'd avoid it. I would say I wouldn't mind extra fuel capacity for my month trip out West this Summer and wonder if I should consider some other sort of tank as an auxilliary source. ANy insight would be welcome.

Thanks, Eric
