Well, after 6 months of putting my 81 Westy engine back together ( I was missing many parts).....I turned the key and Voila!!!....it started. I did have to replace the starter which was the cause of the tight engine problem I submitted earlier. I do want to thank the listmembers who have been so helpful. I couldn't have done it without this list!

Now that I have it running, I'm ready to tackle some of the fun stuff like the interior. My wallpaper or contact paper is cracked, bubbly, and falling down in many places. Does anyone have a fix for this problem. Is there contact paper available that can adequately replace the existing VW paper? I would be interested in hearing what others have done.

Thanks to all! Scott
