nah, this tends to cause accidents when drivers swerve to go after the juicier armadillos or raccons or other indigenous pests who frequent our highways and by-ways. and your eyes can fool you in the bright sunlight of noon ... what looks like the fixings of a delicious turtle soup can turn out to be just a flattened hubcap. or that small but tasty snake can really be just a discarded fan belt. :( and the drivers, who narrowly avoided you as you panic-braked to retrieve the psuedo-road-kill, tend to get rather irate. and YOU might turn out to be the road-kill!! :(

but if you do find a good one, you might want to wait for a couple of 18-wheelers to "tenderize" it just a bit. :)
