To find out if your oil low pressure buzzer is working, follow the brown wire on the right side of the water pump. It goes up and under the intake manifold, to the left of the engine compartment. I beleive the connector has a yellow wire on the other side. Dissconneced that connector. Start the car. Hold the RPM at 3000 and the buzzer should come. The control unit in your instrument cluster needs to see that curcuit closed at 2000 RPM or higher, and what you are doing is fooling it. Let me know what happens. Michael Modl. 87 syncro
