You may recall my post "Am I Crazy, Sane or Dreaming? re: Surging" in which I described how I'd found the wire disconnected at the sensor and how I'd noticed my van sluggish and mileage averaged about 12mpg (US).

Well since then the van's had normal (descent) performance and I've been averaging about 17mpg (US). Definitely up 40%! This is after 3 tanks before and after so I'm confident of the results. I still want to get that figure up as I think it's low though...maybe I'm mistaken.

Now...I wonder if that mechanic will pay the extra $45 in fuel wasted...hmmmm
