well ... being born in the late 1600's, i rather like Mozart (some light stuff), a bit of Bach or Brahms, some Leon Redbone (how'd THAT get in there!?) and maybe some Willie Nelson. :) just a big messy mix. which is why i like to make my own cassettes to play: i kinda like Willie, but i don't like to listen to 72 minutes of him!! i.e., i don't really want a CD player in the bus. :)

i've also found that it helps to put music of the same sort of tempo on the tapes ... so you have a slow tape, a traffic tape, and a highway cruising tape. or a sitting-around-the-campfire-winding-down tape. mixing tempos on a single tape makes you slow down and speed up on the road. which is another good reason to get a cruise control. :)
