I don't know what the advantage of this is, or why it is there. It appears to be a stock item. I don't see the need for it, and would prefer to remove it and replace it with a fog light switch... Mine has it too, but it was added by the PO as an anti-theft device. I don't think it was ever supplied by VW this way. If it was, car theves would know about it and it would be useless! Bill |
