I'd like to move a queen size bed with a regular vanagon, and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I did move a full size bed a couple of weeks ago by strapping down the boxspring to the roof and shoving the matress into the cargo area. But, I didn't have to move it very far and was able to keep the speed down. In this case, I'd like to move it hundreds of miles driving at highway speeds. I'm looking for an inexpensive solution to this problem, and I'm wondering if some sort of cheap rack would be any help. I suppose people tie all sorts of things to the roof and drive, but I didn't want the matress AND boxspring to fly off and hit anyone behind me. ANy thoughts? Thanks, david |
