You can still get OE heater hoses for the '84 at the dealer- for a price. The stuff from the engine to the T-piece is pre-formed, and in metric (I forgot the specs; I just bought the hoses and replaced the old ones with them.

When you replace, BE SURE that you have the larger, replacement T-piece that Bentley's recommends. You will know it if the hose takes a lot of effort to slip on. (The old ones had a poor fit.)
