Hi, well I finally fabricated a spring compressor starting from the one
GEne Berg sells.  I think it will work well.


The problem is...I went to replace the broken rings on number 4 piston
when I noticed the ones I received look different than the broken ring I
took off the engine.  The ring in particular that I'm talking about is
the oil control ring.  The ones I got from the parts store do not use a
2 part (spring and ring) but appears they use a 3 part (baffle, ring,
ring).


Does anyone know if that is compatible?  I think it is, but I want to be
sure.
