Subject: Rear Hatch Lock Problem

Hi All,

Thanks to all who helped me out on the speaker size question and the instrument cluster cleaning questions I had. I was truly amazed and the number of people who responded and with the quality of those responses!

Here is my next one, I have power locks on my '90 Multivan and am having a problem with the lock on the rear hatch. Sometimes it simply will not unlock. No matter if the power locks are locked or unlocked and no matter what position the key is put in in the lock itself. I assume that somehow the lock/unlock mechanism on the shaft which is connected to the motor that should lock and unlock the door is parking at the wrong place. Has anyone experienced this problem? Better yet, does anyone have a solution?

Thanks! Hans (dudecati@yahoo.com)
