Subject: canoe rack - no drilling required !!

Ive got a better solution to the canoe problem... similiar to don's but does not require drilling for the artificial rain gutter and is bombproof !!

the thule "super high foot" ( i think model #972?) attaches directly to the raingutter of the westy, and clears the fiberglass top! you can also move them if necessary. you will NOT find this as a fit in the thule manual. REI carries this rack. I carry my old town on it as well as two bikes !! ( i got three bars, two over the luggage rack for the bikes and one way in the back to tilt the canoe on to, then push it up...perfect. With the canoe carrier it is simply great !!
