I checked into the fuel tank issue in Germany... basically forget it - too much hassle and red tape! It will be way cheaper, easier and faster to get an adapter plate and flywheel from K.E.P. It works perfectly in my Syncro with the starter in the stock location and the plates are drilled for 50, 15 and 0 deg mounting angles.
