Yea that would work. But what about this.Put some dowels in the 2by4's go to a flea market and hang handcrafts and Vanagon parts on the dowels. Make enough money and buy the correct parts. put a base on the 2by4's and now you have two coat racks for your house. Try that with your PVC. $19.95 will sent plans.
