I spoke with my local dealer about the Optima and potentially "cutting off"
the posts. She called the Distributer - and we were told that this kind of
alteration _voids_ the _warrenty_! But Optima is working on a version of
the battery with posts that will "screw" into either top or side position.
Guess they have had many requests? Don't have any date or assurance - just
a comment.
