Please read BATTERY BOX. Cut the BOX into which the battery is put. Do not cut the battery.

Cutting the Vanagon battery BOX is unlikely to invalidate the battery warrantee.

This is the D750U, where U is for Universal, which has both +/- posts on top and +/- screw threads on the side. This is the battery that I have installed in our '86 Syncro Westfalia as our auxiliary battery.
