John and Volks: I had heard the prices on the new EVs were going to be high, but over 30K US? That's nuts. There'd better be a lot of bargaining room built into that sticker price! I bought my 93 EV GL, with alloy wheels, new in 94 for $18K (though the sticker was $23K). Similarly, my wife's 90 Mitsubishi Montero cost $16.5K new. Now the stickers on those are around 40K. What's this world coming to? (and FAST!) -Tim Parker 93 EV GL 60 Singlecab 29 Model A Ford ($650 US when new, and the Fordor was one of the more expensive models. I bought it "used" in while I was in high school for $300). |
