The manuel for my 83.5 Vanagon GL says that this is normal wen coming to a stop after driving at highway speed for a while (or something like that since it is not in front of me) THis may be indigenous to the '83.5 though. THe manuel or the 85 Westy does not say it. Jonathan R. Has anyone ever had there oil light blink on and off intermittently? We asked the guy who works on our car and he said do not freak out -- it is not a big deal, probably a electrical problem. Any ideas??? Althea-91 GL Thanks, Christine and Dan
