I-95 is bad, almost anywhere, though, simply due to it being the major north south route on the East Coast (I-5 may be similarly bad between LA and SF, but I haven't driven on that section...) Of course, the Interstates are terribly the same and boring across much of the country. The US routes, especially in the western states, tend to be much more scenic. The Interstates are for making distance, not for sight seeing. To do the good site seeing, it is necessary to get away from the I-corridors. |
