Good idea. Also, after you have your local VW garage to the O2 for the first time (after you busted your knuckle or the strained the metal on the cat) and have them do it, go home and pull the sucker out again and put the anti-seize compound on. Don't wait until it's time to do it again or it'll be frozen again.

I found that my local VW garage (bless their little hearts; they understand waterboxers) torqued it on there pretty good. Did the above removal and anti-seize treatment, so now I'm fairly certain I can do it myself the next time with an O2 sensor from Ron (shameless plug :-).
