awhile ago i posted a message about leaking brake fluid i thought was coming form my brake master cylinder. several listess asked for my findings. It turned out that it was the master clutch cylinder. it seems the top accordian boot on the clutch master cylinder (cmc) would fill up. when the clutch was depressed the accordian would be squeezed spraying brake fluid on various places. bougth a replacement cmc using the telephone to order (not e-mail). took only about ten minutes to replace. but bleeding the brake and clutch took much longer. I use a mighty vac and am happy with it. my wife wasn't feeling well so i had lost my helper.

interesting i found out that you can get a slave clutch rebuild kit from autosuperstore for under $20.

hope this info is useful to those who asked to be updated.
