i agree mobil 1 is great, ive always used it in my 84 audi 5000s turbo (155k
mi) and have just started using it in my '84 vanagon.  tho, i still change oil
every 3k or less.

(FWIW, the oil in my audi is still golden, not black, even 2k after oil
chg...)
