Even the Passat wagon (the runner up?) only came to $24,000... I have to agree that this is pretty steep. Our '93 MV cost us $13,000 (with 50K miles) back on 2/12/98.

As I said before, the tariff is probably huge. Let me check with my friend at Mahan VW to see what that tariff comes to.
