Subject: Auto tranny-broken (again)! rebuild or parts where??Help!!!

Waahhh!, I just found out the second tranny for my '86 Westy (first one was the orignal and this one I bought used) is shot!! I have been getting some horrendous quotes for rebuilds, parts and even used trannies! Anyone have a suggestion for getting a rebuilt one or for parts or for a fairly certainly good one?? HEll, for the money I've been quoted I could buy a standard transmission van and swap it over with parts left over to sell! Finally (tears) what would a nice, well running '86 Westfalia GL (working fridge, stove and engine) with no trans be worth?

THanks, ERic
