I guess I need to clarify this.

I'm back......online, that is. Not back to my beloved Alaska, unfortunately.


The ol' bronze bomb suffered a tranny failure and along with that has arisen
the need to do some serious undercarriage work......New CV's, re-bush front
end, front wheel bearings, brakes including new drums and discs, Cat
converter, and muffler, etc. All this seems  to have arrived at the same
time, so my work is cut out for me. Needless to say, it has put me way off
my return home, until it is all done.  But better now than later.

Not surprised it is time for all this re-working. The '85 GL has approx. 210
,000 miles on it. Body is good, but the running gear is........well, needs
love.

Will post my progress.
