Needless to say, it has put me way off my return home, until it is all done. But better now than later.

Not surprised it is time for all this re-working. The '85 GL has approx. 210 ,000 miles on it. Body is good, but the running gear is........well, needs love.

Will post my progress.

Sorry about the confusion.

John--

When we bought Suzanne's van, it needed all of the above and more. The previous owner had "defered" ALL maintenanence for years. With 230k showing on the (broken) odometer, it was time.

But, WHAT A FEELING when it was done!!! Handled great, shifted nicely, FAR less drifty-ness, etc. etc. etc. You'll be glad you fixed all that.
