I seem to be loosing oil at the rate of 1 qt per 1000 miles. I cannot
see any obvious leaks. My Vanagon doesn't blow blue/black/grey/whatever
smoke. If it is using oil would it HAVE to make some smoke? I also
checked the coolant in the expansion tank, thinking some sork of reverse
head leak but there was not any there. Thanks

BTW, the SA Vanagon pictures have been moved to

but there is still a pointer in the old location. I hope to get the new
pictures up tonight, they are pretty cool.
