Buy a fire ext if don't already have one. Their are over 30 connection on and
around the tank and thats not including the engine compartment. Take a hard
look at the charcoal filter and expansion tank next to left front wheel and
the other tank next to the right front wheel. The rubber seal on the gas cap
could be worn. You never did say what position you were in/sitting
standing/inside/outside or at the the rear of the van when you smell gas. I
have a good picture of the tank and all connection if you want I can scan it
