Greetings

Strange how events take place over 24 hrs.(driveshaft postings)I was just over in Vancouver BC on Thursday, business trip, but took the opportunity to have my driveshaft repaired. New U-joints, balanced and painted. 200.00 Cdn. This shop told me that they tried a different supplier for the U-joints this time. They also use external shims. Told me it was the best fit he has had on these syncro shafts. The shaft is not installed yet and it might be a couple of days before I get a chance to do this. I will keep you informed on how it performs.

Question about installation. Bently describes alignment but seems rather vague. When you loosen the noted(Bently)bolts on the front diff, what is meant by alignment ? With the shaft bolted on does it does is move or center the diff ? Also, noting the previous flange marks. My shaft has been out so long, no longer noted. This a problem ?

Thanks 88 syncro Randy Feueriegel Victoria BC
