Hey all,
I am happy to report that me, my family, and my '81 Vanagon with low
compression all made the 400 or so mile trip from Johnson City, TN to
Fairfax VA yesterday without incident.  The van does seem to still be
running on the warm side, though.


I believe an engine pull is going to go down fairly soon, once we get
settled.  I wanna know what's up with these heads.


Now comes the unpleasant task of unpacking all these damn boxes.  Moving
is such a PITA.
Then it's going to be fun to try to get my van (without EGR,
unfortunately) through Virginia emissions inspection.  We'll see...
