The voltage induced to the timing light is directly proportional to the current in the spark plug wires. Unless the wires have a braided ground shield, which I doubt,they should trigger it fine. Is the engine running OK? Maybe you have low spark. What color is the spark? Drive Safely & Good Luck Ken Lewis<Kernersville,NC>
