hello, listees,
well, my mechanic told me what several of you have already told
me about
hubs, transmission rebuild, etc. so now i'm seeking a used
transmission
assembly for an 87 vanagon syncro gl, 5-speed. can anyone help
me?

i'm looking at beaucoups bucks and quite frankly i'm not sure i
can do
it. can anybody suggest ways that i could get rid of my baby
(reluctantly, but she's draining me!) and still get some of what
i put
into her out of her? she's in excellent shape otherwise, and you
have my
mechanic's say-so. i even just got the windows tinted!

maybe there's someone out there who's not willing to part with
the
transmission they've been hoarding but who's looking for a home
for it
and can do the work themselves?
