Isn't the transfer pump just pump fuel up and out of the fuel tank (which is located under the back seat in a golf) into the fuel accumalator? I didn't think that the 1st pump -> 2nd pump stage of the fuel line was pressurized. Why can't/wouldn't you put the high pressure Golf pump at the same point the vanagon pump would be located on a gas vanagon?
