Payed another visit to Mahan VW's lot today. There are now four new Eurovans there.

'97 Eurobago with fridge ($76) and "couch, removable" ($692) $10,375 (Gnote: no sticker for the vehicle itself - just for the conversion)

'99 Eurovan MV (Gnote: this is the one I reported on last week) power sunroof $1,000

Silver Grey Metallic $275 destination charge $565 Total $33,240 Basically the same as our '93 MV, with the rear-facing middle seats (dual armrests on these) But I noticed some differences this time - there are two storage compartments with doors under the rear seat, one with a lock; a center console under the dash, with "drinkies" molded in; All '99s come with dual airbags and no glovebox.

'99 Eurovan GLS Island Blue Metallic base $29,900 paint $275 destination charge $565 Total $30,740 Automatic; forward-facing middle seats (with drinkie molded in to the base of the right-side seat; rear seat is three buckets, not a "bench", with the seat-belt receivers built in to the base, not on straps; gray, striped, velour interior.

'99 Eurovan GLS Black Magic Metallic same as above.

------

Other stuff from the sticker (different from what I perceive to be the items on our '93):

"Standard":

Mechanical... Front Wheel drive with low speed traction control 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission Alloy wheels

Safety... ABS on 4 wheel disc brakes Dual airbags Daytime running lights Front safety belt pretensioners

Comfort... Power windows, with "one-touch" UP & down, pinch protection

170cid V6

------

Small sticker on sliding door window...

US/Canadian parts content: 1% Major sources of foreign parts content: Germany 75% Final assembly point: Hannover, Germany
