Alan R Bosch 06/24/98 11:36 AM To: vanagon@vanagon.com cc: Subject: Body work question... Found a '86 Westie that's in good shape but needs some engine and front end body work. Not too concerned about the engine - maybe I should be - but I know nothing about body work. Has anyone had front end damage repaired? Can the work go to any competent body shop? Do I have to mortgage my home to have the work done? In short, the nose on the front passenger side looks like it took a deer hit. Bumper damage, BIG dent around upper grill around right headlight, from top of top grill (where nose flattens out) to turn signal. Damage does not extend to front passenger door, windshield, or anywhere else. Confined to nose. Any help appreciated.
