Most OE VW parts film product surveys go to great detail listing engine serial numbers and their production date. Unfortunately, this is not so with the Fox parts film, where information of this sort is woefully inadequate. Other than looking in the individual parts areas of the film, where they do show engine number splits for certain items, there is nothing to indicate at what time of the model year a certain engine number was used
