If your diesel has been starting OK without benefit of the cold-start cable, then the timing was set "wrong" for normal running. This would give you the hot-start problem you encountered. The cold-start setting changes the "normal" timing to improve the cold-start characteristics. Just have your mech hook up the cable and time it correctly and you should be fine. Larry |
