Hi All, Like it says, _has_ this been done? Not can, HAS! I was looking at my Syncro this past weekend, (the tank strap is rusted out on one side) It sits so tightly on top of the trans that I wonder if you really could squeeze one into a 2WD. Remember that the Syncro drivetrain (trans) is dropped almost 2" lower from the body than the 2WD, and no way is there a 2" gap above my starter/solenoid (that side is still held up properly). So.... has anyone done/seen this to get the extra 80litres into a 2WD? thanks, Tim oh, and a little less theology pls., or Armageddon outa here! |
