Heh, heh

As I pursued the post of the day and observed the inclusion of the Bible as one of the three things to tote along, I said to myself, someone will react to that one! Well, it happened even faster than I thought possible. It is interesting that no one reacts negatively to the idea of taking a credit card or a cell phone.

Both are resources that can be used ultimately to extricate ourselves from trouble and yet no one offers up criticism for lack of ingenuity or courage to go without. Absent an admonition or even a quote from the Bible, a criticism springs forth just for *carrying* one.

Methinks that respect for Bible toters should be at least on par with those who carry credit cards, phones, spare parts tools and even parrots. To do less is cause for concern. No flames needed...just exercising my freedom of yadder.
