i virtually always simply lurk when it comes to these flames / expressions of disaproval over someone else's beliefs and lifestyle choices. this thread though is going to far out there to let pass without some comment. imho, the second best part of the list is the insight into other people through their willingness to share the details of their lives. now i am not particularly introspective or touchy feely (hey, i'm a lawyer from ny!), but i enjoy all of these different viewpoints. if people want to talk about bringing their bibles along in their vans, that's fine. i bring my civil war battlefield guide and atlas. i am no more offended by the mention of the bible than anyone else should be by my passion for history. sure, i think that all americans should visit the various civil war sites, but don't get outraged by my mention of it. lighten up
