Fellow listies, Pondering the majority of the mail passing the list of late, and the sometime daunting task of extracting useful info from the Archives, I happened on a thought. (yes that happens once in a while!) I wondered if there was an easy way which we could tag our mailings (in the title or something) so that we could choose to have it archived or not. Basically a distinct tag that the Archive-er could filter the incoming mailings with. This would allow for all those *Me too* replies and quick jabs and flames to bypass the archives and make searching for info much easier than opening every RE XXXX mailing with nothing in it. I AM NOT saying that this sort of stuff is not an important part of the personality of the list by any means. I AM SAYING that this part of the conversation does not need to be Archived, and would make the Archives a better place to be. Just a thought. Shields operating a full power captain! (spoken with a Scottish TV voice)

Nat 1991 syncro westy who loves the list!
