Well here's the worlds best mouse trap. FIll a 5 gal. bucket with about 3 inches of used anti-freeze. At near the top of the bucket insert a 1/4" metal rod from side to side. Hang a beer can on the rod by inserting a hole in the bottom of the can, and running the rod thru the new hole and out the normal opening. This will leave the can to spin on the rod. On the side of the can that hangs down put a small amount of peanut butter. Last take a 2x4 and lean it on the bucket to make it easy for the mice to get up there.

Heres what happens- The mice climb up to the rod but can not sink there claws into the metal. As they try to get the peanutbutter on the bottom side of the can it spins they loose there balance, they fall into the anti-freeze. This poisons them, and they dye. It works well. I have to empty my trap in my garage in the woods about every week. I'll have a dozen or so to fish out! Great for a vehicle that is in storage. NO smell because the mice are in the anti-freeze.
