Saw a cheap info-mercial for some stuff called "Alumaloy". It is shown "welding" all kinds of aluminum, even building up broken castings all with only a propane torch and no flux. At first glance this stuff seems perfect for filling in pits on waterboxer heads. But.... it is not welding. It is brasing or soldering. And it is a zinc alloy. Maybe not the thing to use on an aluminium head in a already complex electro-chemical envrionment like the waterboxer head/waterjacket.

It is also listed as Aluma-weld.

Any one know anything else about this stuff?
