Listees,

This is one of the best running set ups I've driven aside from the 2.0 Engine conversion soon to be released:)

I do alot of the Long Test drives for QC after we've (Volks Cafe) have done either Headgaskets Or a complete engine install.

We do the same drive, up a long grade a round trip of about 28 miles. I know the exact shift points on the hill from having done this, How Many Times.... Let's not think about that:(

When I drove the first 1.9 to 2.1 conversion up the grade it was an 84 Westy, had quality tires on it( I really can tell you about the tires on an van after driving on this grade. HWY 17) and the Rebuilt engine.

This van climbed far past the normal point of needing to shift into third gear! At one point were i normally need to downsift to third it was NOT necesssary too!

To this day I belive that this engine set up climbs this hill better than a 86-91 2.1.

I'm only jumping in here because my name was brought up and I do have First Hand experience with this set up.

My $00.02
