Stateline Volksfolks Vintage Campout #2 — July 17-19, 1998

Rock Cut State Park in Rockford, Illinois!

This camp-out is held in conjunction with the Vintage Picnic #11 (but you don't have attend it if you don't wanna).

Rock Cut State Park is the area's most beautiful park, featuring biking, hiking, swimming and beautiful shaded campsites. We will have our own area just for VWs! No one else is allowed! Bring your Westfalia, your Bug, your Ghia, camp in a tent or whatever you wish, there will be a spectacular best camping set up trophy (you should see last year's!!!!).

There are clean showers and real flushing toilets (none of that primitive stuff!), also most sites have electric, and there will be a continental breakfast (yeah, that means a box of donuts). If you would like to reserve a site send a check for $5 to: Stateline Volksfolks Camping Reservations, 1007 19th St., Rockford, IL 61104. Then camping is just an additional $11 per night, payable when you arrive (not bad at all!) but you may have to share a site with another VW lover.
