Not exactly sure if this would work, but couldn't a compressor be mounted to the charging fittings near the compressor. The 110 volt compressor probably will not have the capacity of the stock engine powered unit, so maybe going through a shreader(sp?) wouldn't matter. When the vacation was over the compressor could be removed to save weight. Just thinking out loud.
