Many people who, not feeling that they satisfactorily know why they're
here, or having some other kind of questions about the human condition
in general, turn to the humanities- religion, philosophy, metaphysics,
etc.- to figure out their existential purpose, or the reason why
things are the way they are.

Some of these disciplines are mutually exclusive with one another,
i.e. Roman Catholicism with Wicca. Many, however, arent- depending on
how abstractly your mind can think (and NO, this is NOT a drug
reference) and many people fashion their own world view using many of
these, and some use few. Many change their views over time as life's
experiences prompt them to. It pays, then, to be open to others views
and discuss them- it can only enrich us...
