--------------------------- Hi Volks, This problem has to be in the archives but I couldn't find it so here goes. I have been swapping digifants in and out of by 86 westy. All was going along fine with a digifant I had repaired so I went for a road test and then I hit a bump the engine cut out. Turns out every time I hit a bump the engine would cut out. I found the metal frame the digifant mounts inside (about a 6 inch by 12 inch metal black cover) was shorting to a bolt that supports the rear seat hinge. This bolt head had been covered with tape by one of the POs or their mechanic. Hi Richard and Charles. Being the curious type I later put a scope on the digifant frame and found fuel injector pulses are normally on the cover. Like it is designed that way. Has anyone else experienced this digifant shorting to ground problem? Maybe this is an 86 or westy only problem or potential problem.

Ps. My digifant tool showed me instantly the fuel injector pulses were missing as I hit a bump.
