Kenneth, This is from the Old Volks Home page:

" Due to the design of the 2.1 case, the 1.9 plenum is not useable. However, the 1.9 Throttle Body must be installed because the 2.1 variety won't fit the 1.9 Air Intake Elbow coming from the Air Box. "

This is using a 2.1 case with digijet stuff (not my setup). So, I'd deduce, since we need to use the Air Box and it's elbow, that you really can't use the 2.1 throttle body when doing this.
