ROTFL! I've had a battery cut-off switch in for some time now. When I'm away for a long time, I pull the switch to avoid any possible battery drain. Reconnect and she starts. I don't see any possible calendaring function in the ECU. I had it apart and didn't see a battery in there that would actually keep the time. Maybe ticks from startup or something.

I am stocking up on canned goods, beans, and rice though, in case other distribution systems get FUBARd.
